On the front of the medal, St. Christopher is carrying the Child Jesus. On the backside of the medal is an automobile full of passengers.
St. Christopher is known as the patron saint of travelers. He was one of the "Fourteen Holy Helpers" and was born with the name "Reprobus". The name Christopher means "Christ bearer" and was given to him by Jesus after carrying the Child Jesus across a river.
This fine replica is cast in antiqued sterling silver using the lost wax method and produced in the U.S.A.
The chain is 20 inches long. The medal is 1 inch round. If you would prefer a different length, please contact me.
