Beautiful sterling silver antique replica Saint Roch (Rocco) Medal dangles from your choice of silver chain. A lobster clasp closure completes the piece. The antiqued finish is gorgeous! The medal is 3/4 inch.
Saint Roch is the patron saint of epidemics and the plague. He was marked with a red cross on his chest at birth. St. Roch devoted his life to helping the plague-stricken and sick. His miraculous powers cured many with the Sign of the Cross. He is also the patron saint of dogs.
The COVID-19 pandemic is a type of epidemic, so this St. Roch medal and prayer (in photos) is very appropriate for our times!
This fine replica is cast in antiqued sterling silver using the lost wax method and produced in the U.S.A.
There are several silver chain selections for this medal. A sterling silver spiga chain is available in 20 inches or 24 inches long. A stainless steel rolo chain is available in 18 inches or 20 inches long. Please contact me if you would like a different length.
Here are some additional details to better select a silver chain for you! Stainless steel is less expensive and will always stay the same color with no maintenance. The stainless steel version may be a bit more masculine and the sterling silver version a bit more feminine, but both are unisex. The stainless steel lobster clasp is bigger than the sterling lobster clasp. The sterling silver chain is thinner and more oxidized in color as compared to the stainless steel chain.
